History - electric motor construction since 1999

Like many success stories of good companies, ours also started in a garage, where a restless engineer was looking for new approaches in electric motor technology.

Schwarz-Elektromotoren began in 1999 with two colleagues on the site in Köditz. Through targeted expansion of services, the company has grown consistently. Soon, with the move to the state-of-the-art production halls on the new site in Rehau, we were able to provide the expansion of the production area that was necessary for growth.

Since then, our workforce has grown to 65, producing high-quality solutions every day with the latest production systems – from the CNC machine through test stands for complex demands to the paint shop. Customers in Germany and all over the world have long appreciated Schwarz electric motors as a reliable and efficient drive technology – for shipbuilding, transfer vehicles, industrial trucks, electric cars, extinguishing systems, hybrid systems and wind power plants.
